Power End: the cornerstone of reliability
Frame construction: the power end of the Ga-550 is constructed of high-strength welded steel plates.
Crankshaft and gear train:
Crankshaft: one-piece forged alloy steel crankshaft with dynamic balancing. Common material grades
42CRMO or modified ANSI 4340 alloy steel is selected for its excellent comprehensive mechanical properties, and the best matching of strength and toughness is achieved by subsequent quenching and tempering heat treatment.
Gear: pump with double helical teeth (herringbone teeth) gear for power transmission. Compared with ordinary spur gears, herringbone gears can ensure smooth and quiet operation during transmission, transmit higher torque through larger tooth surface contact area, and can self-balance axial force.
Bearings and lubrication system: the power end is fully equipped with anti-friction roller bearings (including main bearings, pinion shaft bearings and connecting rod big end bearings) from top manufacturers, to minimize friction losses and improve transmission efficiency. A set of
A combination of forced and splash lubrication systems are usually equipped with separate gear pumps, filters, pressure gauges and oil coolers (optional) to provide consistent, reliable lubrication protection for all critical moving parts.
Hydraulic end: the core area of high wear and high performance
Modular design concept: the GA-550 features a modern modular hydraulic end design with a two-disc"L" or Valve-over-Valve design.
Material and manufacturing process: hydraulic end modules are made of high strength forged alloy steel, common grades include 35CRMO, 40CrMnMo and AISI 4130/4135. The entire forging, heat treatment and non-destructive testing (NDT) process is strictly followed
API 7K standard ensures that the material has sufficient strength and toughness to withstand pulse pressure cycles up to 5,000 PSI.
Valve assembly components:
Valve Assembly and seat: as the heart of the hydraulic end, the seat is usually made of a forged alloy steel suitable for surface hardening, such as AISI 8620 or 20CrNiMo.
Valve rubber (plug-in) : as the actual sealing element, the valve rubber is made of a highly abrasion-resistant elastomer, such as Polyurethane (PU) or nitrile rubber (NBR) , which is responsible for providing a reliable seal and absorbing impact energy.
