Power side: Designed for durability
Frame and Crankshaft:
The power end frame is constructed from high-strength welded steel plates or cast steel structures, ensuring exceptional rigidity. The crankshaft is forged from premium alloy steels (e.g., 42CrMo or 4340), precision-machined and dynamically balanced to withstand extreme cyclic stresses. Its strength and fatigue resistance far surpass those of cast components.
Transmission and lubrication:
The V-gear transmission ensures smooth operation and efficient torque transmission. A system combining forced lubrication and splash lubrication provides continuous and reliable lubrication protection for all bearings and moving parts.
Crosshead:
The crosshead guide plate is made of high-quality wear-resistant materials such as manganese bronze, which forms an ideal low friction motion pair with the cast steel or ductile cast iron crosshead body, effectively reducing wear and heat generation, and prolonging the service life.
Hydraulic end: optimized for easy maintenance
L-shaped Module:
The OPI 350DG utilizes an advanced L-shaped split hydraulic end module. This design separates the suction and discharge chambers, allowing for replacement of individual modules when wear occurs, eliminating the need to replace the entire costly hydraulic end assembly. This significantly reduces maintenance costs and downtime.
Material and Craftsmanship:
The hydraulic cylinder module is fabricated from high-strength forged alloy steel (35CrMo or 40CrMnMo) and undergoes rigorous heat treatment to achieve optimal strength and toughness, fully complying with API 7K standards.
High quality wear parts: guarantee of performance and value
- Cylinder liner: Two options are available to suit different working conditions:
- High-chromium bimetallic cylinder liner: Composed of a forged steel outer sleeve and a centrifugal-cast inner sleeve with high chromium content (Cr>27%), featuring an inner bore hardness of HRC 62-69 for exceptional wear resistance, making it a cost-effective standard choice.
- Zirconia ceramic cylinder liner: With an inner hole hardness exceeding HRC 90, it offers unmatched wear and corrosion resistance. Its service life is 5 to 10 times longer than bimetallic cylinder liners, making it ideal for high-abrasion or corrosive fluid environments, significantly reducing total lifecycle costs.
- Piston: Featuring an integral vulcanized bonding design, this construction permanently bonds high-performance polyurethane or nitrile rubber to the forged alloy steel piston core. Polyurethane pistons excel in oil-based slurries under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, while nitrile rubber pistons are the cost-effective choice for water-based slurries.
- Piston rod: Crafted from high-strength forged alloy steel (e.g., 42CrMo) with a hardened chromium surface, this design delivers exceptional surface hardness (HRC 68-72) and minimal friction, significantly extending the service life of both the piston rod and packing seal.
- Valve assembly: Featuring Series 4 valves with forged alloy steel (e.g., 20CrMnTi) bodies and seats, these components undergo carburizing and quenching heat treatment to achieve a surface hardness of HRC 60 or higher, effectively resisting high-pressure fluid impact and erosion.
