The power terminal rack is made of full steel plate welding structure, and the stress elimination treatment is carried out after welding to ensure its excellent rigidity and strength.

The EWECO E-447's transmission system epitomizes its engineering excellence. Its core pump features an integrated herringbone gear design that delivers superior torque transfer capacity and exceptionally smooth operation. The crankshaft, forged from high-grade alloy steel, combines lightweight construction with precision dynamic balancing to ensure vibration-free performance at high speeds, delivering stable and reliable power output throughout the machine.

Precision motion components and lubrication systems

The power end crosshead is cast in one piece from high-quality ductile iron, offering exceptional wear resistance. The entire power end assembly-including the crankshaft, connecting rod, and crosshead-is equipped with high-performance anti-wear roller bearings, ensuring efficient power transmission and an exceptionally long service life.

In order to ensure that all moving parts can operate reliably under high load for a long time, the E-447 adopts a dual lubrication system combining forced lubrication and splash lubrication.

Hydraulic end: born for versatility and durability

Advanced modular hydraulic end design

The pump incorporates an advanced Ellis-Williams-style hydraulic end with valve chamber dimensions compliant with API-5 standards. A key design feature is its two-piece modular structure. Unlike traditional monolithic hydraulic ends, this configuration separates the suction and discharge modules, delivering significant operational advantages. When wear occurs, operators only need to replace the damaged individual module rather than the entire expensive hydraulic end assembly. This approach dramatically reduces maintenance costs and downtime, directly optimizing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The design also enables simpler, safer, and faster replacement of valves and valve seats.

Optimize performance and total cost of ownership for vulnerable parts

EWECO provides a range of high-performance wear parts for the E-447, enabling customers to optimize pump configuration based on their specific application scenarios, drilling fluid characteristics and cost effectiveness objectives.

Cylinder liners: Provide a variety of material options to cope with different wear and corrosion environments. High-chromium cylinder liners have excellent wear resistance, while top-grade zirconia ceramic cylinder liners take durability to the next level.

High chromium iron liner: The inner sleeve is centrifugally cast from high chromium cast iron with a hardness of up to HRC 60-65, providing more than 800 hours of reliable service life and an economical and efficient choice for standard abrasive slurries.

Zirconia ceramic cylinder liner: Hardness over HRC 92, service life up to 4000 hours or more. Its ultra-fine inner surface finish significantly reduces friction with the piston, thereby extending piston life, reducing cooling system load, and ultimately significantly reducing long-term operating costs.

Piston Solutions: We provide multiple piston options, including piston assemblies made from materials like nitrile rubber or polyurethane, along with specialized formulations such as "Lan Dian" and "Lv Shuang" designed for specific mud types (e.g., oil-based or synthetic) and pressure conditions. These solutions ensure optimal sealing performance and extended operational duration across diverse chemical environments.

Valve assembly: The pump's API-5 valve chamber can be equipped with full open, mesh and other valve assemblies. Valve inserts are also available in polyurethane and nitrile rubber to accommodate different fluid characteristics and abrasive particles, ensuring reliable sealing and efficient flow at high pressure of 5,000 PSI.

Integrated cylinder liner piston cooling system

To address the substantial heat generated during continuous high-pressure operations, the E-447 features an integrated cylinder liner flushing system. This system employs a dedicated centrifugal pump and spray rod to precisely distribute cooling lubricant across the reciprocating interface between the piston and cylinder liner. Not only does this design effectively dissipate heat and prevent thermal erosion of components, but it also removes abrasive particles, significantly reducing wear on vulnerable parts. These combined benefits extend service life and lower operational costs.
