Power: the cornerstone of a durable design

 

 

Crankshaft and bearing configuration: the core of the power end is a fully supported crankshaft with biconical main bearings and cylindrical central roller bearings. This rugged bearing arrangement is designed for long life and high durability, effectively spreading the load and ensuring smooth operation under a wide range of operating conditions.

Built-in lubrication system: the WDD 340 comes standard with an efficient built-in power end lubrication system. The system is specially optimized to provide sufficient and reliable lubrication to all moving parts, even under harsh conditions such as low speed operation or non-horizontal pump body installation, thereby significantly reducing wear and extending component life.

High quality seal: to protect the cleanliness of the power end, we use a high quality intermediate rod oil seal. The sealing system includes four independent seals, which can effectively prevent external pollutants from entering the power end oil circuit and ensure the purity of lubricating oil, which is the key to maintain the long-term healthy operation of the pump.

 

Hydraulic end: for harsh environment and convenient maintenance

 

 

High strength cylinders: all cylinders are made of high quality cast ductile iron. This material is known for its strength and durability, effectively withstanding the impact and fatigue of high-pressure fluids, thereby extending the overall life of the hydraulic end.

Easy front-end maintenance: we know the importance of efficient on-site maintenance. Therefore, the WDD 340 features a clever front piston disassembly design. Maintenance personnel can easily replace the piston from the front end of the cylinder, the whole process does not need to remove the cylinder or cylinder liner, greatly simplifying the maintenance process and shortening the valuable downtime.

Wear parts: to cope with abrasive particles in the drilling fluid, WDD 340 standard with high hardness chromium iron cylinder liner and wear valve. These components are specially selected materials and heat treatment process, can effectively resist erosion and wear, to ensure that the pump in the treatment of sediment-laden fluid remains efficient performance.

Liners: we offer 4.5 inch hardened chrome Liners designed for the WDD 340. The base material is high-strength ferrochrome, which has excellent hardness and wear resistance, and can effectively deal with the abrasive particles in the drilling fluid.

Pistons: provides a 4.5-inch integral vulcanized bonded piston assembly. The piston combines a high-performance seal with a solid metal core to ensure excellent sealing and extrusion resistance under high pressure. A separate Piston Cup kit is also available for quick replacement.

Valve Assembly: separate suction and discharge Valve assemblies are available. These valves are designed for wear and corrosion conditions to provide reliable seal and efficient flow throughout service life.

Seals: these include dedicated intermediate rod (calf) oil Seals and stuffing box Seals designed to provide a durable and reliable seal against fluid leakage and external contamination.

Horizontal directional drilling (HDD-RRB- : this is the core application area of WDD WDD 340. Its stable displacement and pressure output, as well as the wear-resistant parts optimized for HDD service, enable it to meet the stringent requirements of small and medium-sized HDD drilling rigs for mud circulation system.

Medium and small oil and gas well drilling: as an auxiliary pump or as a primary pump during drilling operations in shallow wells, the WDD 340 provides sufficient hydraulic horsepower, while its small footprint and weight also facilitate transportation and field layout.

Industrial fluid delivery: its rugged design and reliable performance are also suitable for a variety of industrial applications, such as reverse osmosis, water treatment, chemical processes, and other fluid delivery applications that require moderate pressure and flow.
