Pump Frame: a solid structural foundation
For Fig. High-strength, fine-grained monolithic cast iron was carefully selected for the power-end pump housing. In contrast to the welded steel plate construction used in many modern pumps, the one-piece casting process provides unparalleled structural rigidity and superior vibration absorption. Pump frame internal precision boring processing, to ensure the perfect alignment of all moving parts, for the lasting reliability has laid a solid foundation.
Crankshafts and gears: forged for durability
Crankshaft design and materials: the pump uses a unique offset crankshaft design. This innovation reduces the vertical thrust load by more than 40% , fundamentally eliminating crankshaft vibration and significantly reducing friction, heat, and wear. The crankshaft itself is made of high-grade ductile iron or forged alloy steel, selected for their excellent fatigue resistance under high cyclic stresses, ensuring long-term reliability under severe operating conditions.
Gear Train: power is transmitted through continuous herringbone gears.
Bearings and lubrication: Precision in motion
Bearing configuration: heavy duty tapered and spherical roller bearings are used on crankshafts and pinion shafts to cope with heavy loads. These high-quality bearings ensure accurate alignment and high load capacity, which is the key to long-term trouble-free pump operation.
Lubrication system: we use a simple and efficient splash lubrication system. When the pump is running, the lubricating oil in the crankcase is picked up by the gears to form oil mist and oil flow, which fully lubricates all the moving parts at the power end. The system does not need external oil pump, simple structure, high reliability, greatly reducing the complexity of maintenance.
Hydraulic end: the first line of defense for durability
Fig. The hydraulic end pump body of the 7024 is cast in one piece of high strength cast iron or ductile iron. This rugged one-piece design provides superior durability and abrasion resistance and minimizes potential leakage points, ensuring reliability in standard MUD operations.
Perishables: a graded solution designed to extend service life
Cylinder liner
Standard configuration: "File Hard" hardened steel cylinder liners, professionally heat treated, provide a reliable and economical option for standard drilling conditions.
Advanced upgrade-bimetal cylinder liner: using advanced composite manufacturing process, the outer layer is high strength forged steel liner, the inner lining is fused by centrifugal casting process a layer of high chromium (chromium content 26%-28%) cast iron 51. This structure combines the toughness of the shell with the ultra-high hardness of the lining (Rockwell hardness)
HRC ≥62-69) , which allows its service life to easily exceed 800 hours in harsh working conditions.
Ultimate performance-zirconia ceramic cylinder liner: this is the current top-of-the-line cylinder liner technology. We employ unique zirconia (ZRO2) ceramic materials with hardness up to Rockwell hardness HRC ≥92-9450 through phase transformation toughening techniques. Its inner walls are precision honed to an impressive surface finish of 4-8 RMS, greatly reducing friction with the piston. This makes its service life can exceed 4000 hours, is several times the traditional cylinder liner, especially suitable for deep wells, offshore drilling and other extreme harsh environments.
Piston
Standard configuration: suitable for general working condition of cast iron or bronze piston body, with a variety of specifications of the piston ring.
Advanced upgrade-bonded piston: piston core made of high-strength alloy steel (42CRMO or 45 # steel) forged and heat-treated to ensure that it does not deform under high pressure. Seals are made of high-performance polymer and core one-time vulcanization bonding. We offer two main sealing material options:
Polyurethane (PU) : especially suitable for oil-based mud and high pressure environment, has excellent wear resistance and extrusion resistance.
Nitrile rubber (NBR/HNBR) : excellent resistance to chemical corrosion and temperature resistance, a wider range of applications.
Valve Assembly
Design and material: the valve body and seat are made of high-quality alloy steel (20CrMnTi) by integral die forging. The hardness of sealing surface reaches HRC ≥60 by carburizing heat treatment. This"Head-on" seal design ensures a bubble-level seal under high-pressure impact and an ultra-long service life. We also provide valve assemblies in special materials such as bronze for specific corrosive media.
Piston rod and packing
Material and process: piston Rod and Pony Rod are forged with high strength alloy steel (such as 42CRMO or 45 # steel) , and then quenched and tempered and hard chrome plated. The final rod body has a mirror-like surface (roughness Ra ≤0.4) with high wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Packing Seal: we use durable packing made of nitrile rubber and synthetic fiber in the stuffing box at both the hydraulic and power ends to ensure reliable dynamic seal.
Quality Commitment: API 7K certification
We solemnly pledge, Wheatley Fig. All critical loadbearing components of API 7024 and their vulnerable components are designed, manufactured, and tested in strict compliance with or in excess of API 7K specifications of the American Petroleum Institute. This is not only an industry certification, but also our product safety, quality and performance of the highest guarantee for your operation security escort.
Excellent interchangeability
In order to maximize the customer's operational flexibility and availability of spare parts, we design consumables that are 100% interchangeable with other mainstream OEM brands in the industry. This means you don't have to worry about being locked into a single supplier, making it easier to manage your spare parts inventory and reducing operational risk.
