Power End-the hard core
The power end of the PZ-7 is the cornerstone of its long life and stability.
Frame structure: using high strength ductile iron whole casting frame, eccentric wheel, connecting rod and crosshead, strong structural rigidity, can effectively resist vibration and impact.
Driving mode: the main gear is heat-treated alloy steel herringbone gear, which is fixed on the eccentric wheel by bolts, and has stable transmission, low noise and high bearing capacity.
Bearing configuration: heavy duty bearings are used at critical locations, including double row spherical roller bearings for eccentrics and heavy duty straight roller bearings for pinion shafts to ensure smooth operation under high loads.
Lubrication system: a combination of forced and splash lubrication is standard. A built-in oil pump provides continuous clean oil lubrication for key bearings and guides. Filters and pressure gauges are also available, ensure that the power system is always in the best condition.
Cross head guide plate: replaceable wear-resistant manganese bronze guide plate, good self-lubrication, low wear rate, extending the service life of the cross head and power frame.
Fluid End-protection against high pressure
The 5000 PSI hydraulic end of the PZ-7 is designed for high-pressure fluids, and its standard l-shaped modular design makes it easy to maintain and replace.
Modular design: an interchangeable L-shaped forged alloy steel cylinder rocket is used. This kind of design not only has high strength, but also is convenient for quick maintenance or replacement in the field, and has strong compatibility.
High quality material: the hydraulic cylinder module is usually made of high strength forged alloy steel such as AISI 4135 or 35CrMo, which is subjected to strict heat treatment process to ensure its fatigue resistance under high pressure.
Valves and bonnets: Standard API # 7 valve assembly with wear resistant polyurethane plug-in. The bonnet is of a rugged, reliable threaded design to ensure a tight seal under high pressure.
OEM Expendable Parts-guarantee of performance
Choosing our standard OEM accessories is the key to ensuring that your Gardner Denver PZ-7 mud pump delivers optimal performance, longer overhaul cycles, and lower total operating costs. Our commitment to materials and workmanship is a source of confidence.
High-chrome Liners
Material: The shell is made of forged alloy steel (such as 45 # steel) , the inner sleeve is made of high chromium centrifugal casting alloy (CR ≥27%) .
Technology: Shell and inner sleeve by hydraulic pressure closely, bore by precision honing, hardness up to HRC ≥62, with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
Bonded Pistons
Material: piston core made of forged alloy steel (42CrMo) with high strength; piston skin made of high performance polyurethane or nitrile rubber.
Process: rubber/polyurethane in strict control under the condition of direct vulcanization bonded to the piston core, to ensure strong adhesion and sealing, high pressure resistance, wear resistance.
Alloy Steel Piston Rods
Material: SAE 4140 or 42CrMo high strength alloy steel.
Process: after forging and integral quenching and tempering heat treatment, the surface of the rod is precision ground and hard chromium plated, the surface is smooth, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, ensuring the service life of the sealing component.
API # 7 Valve Assembly
Material: both body and seat are of high quality forged alloy steel (e.g. AISI 8620 or 20CrNiMo) .
Process: after carburizing and quenching process, the surface hardness reaches HRC ≥60, while the core maintains good toughness. The sealing surface is precisely ground to ensure perfect sealing.
