Power End Architecture: the cornerstone of durability

Rack integrity and drivetrain accuracy

The core of the power end is a rigid frame welded with thickened steel plates and subjected to strict stress relief treatment. In high stress areas, such as near the main bearings and pinion housings, we use a unique double-walled structure, which greatly enhances the rigidity of the frame and effectively resists torsional deformation at maximum load, ensure accurate alignment of internal transmission components.

Advanced bearing and crosshead design

The power end of the MM-1000 is fully equipped with heavy-duty roller bearings with high load capacity. Main bearings are spherical roller bearings, while eccentric and pinion bearings are straight roller bearings.

The crosshead is made of high-strength alloy ductile iron, while the guide plate is made of wear-resistant ductile iron or bronze.

Redundant lubrication system

The MM-1000 uses a dual lubrication system that combines forced lubrication with splash lubrication. The forced lubrication system constituted by the internal gear pump directly transports the cooled and filtered clean lubricating oil to the key parts such as the main bearing and the gear meshing surface; The splash lubrication generated by the crankshaft operation provides a second layer of intrinsically safe lubrication for the system.

Hydraulic end: a model of material science and superb workmanship

Forged steel cylinders: a sturdy framework for carrying pressure

MM-1000 hydraulic cylinder module is the cornerstone of withstanding high pressure. Each module is forged in one piece from high quality alloy steel such as AISI 4135,35CRMO or 40CrMnMo.

The forged blanks are subjected to a precision heat treatment process to obtain the best strength and toughness; subsequently, precision machining is carried out on a CNC boring machine to ensure the smoothness and dimensional accuracy of the internal runner; and finally, each module must pass hydrostatic pressure testing and comprehensive non-destructive testing (NDT) to ensure its absolute safety and reliability at operating pressures up to 7500 PSI.

The standard Valve-over-Valve design is a time-tested classic for durability. At the same time, we offer the optional"L" type split cylinder as an advanced upgrade option. This advanced design separates the suction and discharge modules, making valve replacement easier, safer, and faster. When one of the modules wears out, only part of the module needs to be replaced instead of the entire cylinder, significantly reducing maintenance costs and downtime.

Targeted cylinder liner solution: tailor-made for your operating conditions

High-chrome Bi-Metal Liners: the casing is made of high-strength forged steel no. 45(tensile strength > 610 MPa) and the inner liner is made of High-Chrome cast iron (> 27% chromium) by centrifugal casting process no. 34. After heat treatment, the inner hole hardness can reach Rockwell hardness HRC 62-69, has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance, in standard conditions can provide more than 800 hours of stable service life.

Zirconia Ceramic Liners: the inner Liners are made of proprietary Zirconia-based Ceramic materials, which are superior to conventional alumina in terms of impact toughness, hardness and surface finish.

Excellent performance: extremely high hardness (Rockwell hardness HRC 92-94) and fine bore surface finish (4-8 RMS) means a lower coefficient of friction, thus significantly extending the piston life.

Amazing Life: under normal drilling conditions, its service life can exceed 4000 hours, is several times the bimetallic cylinder liner.

Special piston technology

Bonded Urethane Pistons: made of a dual-hardness polyurethane material cured with a rigid steel core and bone. This design is optimized for oil-and synthetic-based muds, maintaining excellent sealing and extrusion resistance at pressures up to 7500 PSI and temperatures up to 350 °F.

Replaceable Rubber Pistons: Made of tough, durable bunan Rubber, are the cost-effective choice for water-based mud applications. Its replaceable rubber design allows only worn seals to be replaced when the piston core bone is intact, effectively reducing operating costs.

Special design pistons: we also offer"Bull Nose" and"Blue/White Lightning" and other advanced pistons. These products use unique composite materials and lip designs to provide longer life and more reliable sealing in the most extreme drilling conditions.

Api-compliant valves, seats and piston rods

Valve Assembly: the body and seat are forged from high quality alloy steel and heat treated for extreme surface hardness and tough core, fully API compliant. We offer full-open, three-ribbed, four-ribbed and other designs. The full-open valve assembly has the largest flow area and is particularly suitable for drilling fluids containing solids and plugging materials.

Piston Rod and middle push rod: made of high-quality heat-treated alloy steel, the surface of the rod is induction hardened or chrome-plated, and is precisely polished to ensure maximum fatigue, corrosion and wear resistance.
