Frame: a highly rigid structural framework
The frame of T-500 is welded with high quality thick steel plate, and through the strict post-weld stress relief heat treatment process to ensure its excellent rigidity and dimensional stability. This box-type double-wall structure design, especially in the key stress areas such as the main bearing and the intermediate shaft bearing seat, is designed with reinforced ribs, which can effectively resist distortion and bending deformation, it provides a stable alignment reference for the internal high-speed transmission components. A strong and non-deformation of the frame is to ensure the correct meshing of gears, reduce the bearing bias load, prolong the life of the foundation.
Crankshaft: the fatigue-resistant core of forged alloy steel
The crankshaft of the T-500 is forged in one piece from high quality alloy steel 42CrMo.
Gear train: smooth and efficient transmission of power
The T-500 is designed with mature technology and smooth transmission of herringbone gear (double helical gear) .
Crosshead and bearings: Precision Guide and reliable support
The crosshead of the T-500 is made of high-strength ductile iron or cast steel, with replaceable manganese bronze guides to create a low-friction, high-wear-resistant slide that ensures the absolute linearity of the piston rod motion, damage to the seals at the hydraulic end due to eccentric loading is avoided.
Lubrication system: Omni-directional protective barrier
The T-500 uses a dual lubrication system that combines forced lubrication with splash lubrication.

T-500 cylinders are manufactured from one-piece monolithic forgings of quality alloy steels such as AISI 4135,35CRMO, 40CrMnMo 37 After finishing, each cylinder is subjected to a rigorous hardening heat treatment and multiple non-destructive testing (such as ultrasonic testing) to ensure that it can safely withstand cyclic pressures up to 7,500 psi and effectively resist stress corrosion cracking. Its classic Valve-over-valve structure design optimizes the internal flow channel, reduces the clearance volume, and thus significantly improves the volumetric efficiency of the pump.
Cylinder liner: the first line of defense against wear and tear
High chromium bimetal cylinder liner (standard) : case is made of high strength forged steel with tensile strength over 610 MPa to withstand significant hoop stress. The inner bushing is made of high chromium cast iron by centrifugal casting process, in which the chromium (CR) content is as high as 26%-28% . After special heat treatment, the hardness of the lining can reach Rockwell hardness HRC 62-69, giving it excellent abrasive wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Under conventional drilling conditions, the service life of the liner can stably exceed 800 hours.
Zirconia ceramic liner (advanced option) : lined with proprietary zirconia (Zro2)-based ceramic material. Compared with conventional high chromium cylinder liners and even alumina ceramics, zirconia ceramics have achieved a qualitative leap in several key properties:
Ultra-high hardness: hardness as high as Rockwell hardness 92-94(equivalent to Vickers hardness HV 1100-1200) , wear resistance far beyond metal materials.
Excellent toughness: it overcomes the brittleness of traditional ceramic materials, has higher impact strength, and significantly reduces the risk of cylinder liner fragmentation due to accidental impact on site.
Extreme surface finish: the inner wall can be honed to mirror finish (surface roughness 4-8 RMS) , several times smoother than other materials, greatly reducing the coefficient of friction with the piston.
Long Life: these combined advantages give zirconia ceramic liners an amazing 4,000 to 10,000 hours of service life, 5 to 10 times longer than high chromium liners.
Piston and Rod: reliable seal and powerful drive
Adhesive Polyurethane: designed for use in oil-based and synthetic muds with excellent oil, chemical and extrusion resistance.
Nitrile Rubber (NBR) : is the ideal choice for water-based mud conditions, cost-effective and stable performance.
The piston rod is made of high-quality alloy steel. The surface of the rod is treated by induction hardening to form a hard and wear-resistant surface layer and a tough core, which can resist the wear of the packing box, it can also withstand huge tension and compression alternating stress without fatigue fracture.
Valve body and valve seat: high pressure valve with precise matching
T-500 valve body and the valve seat are made of high-quality alloy steel die forging, and through precision CNC machining and strict heat treatment, so that the hardness of the working face to reach HRC 60 or more. The Full Open design provides maximum flow area, effectively reducing fluid resistance and reducing turbulence erosion of components. The valve rubber cover is made of high-performance polyurethane material, which ensures reliable sealing under various mud conditions. All valve assemblies are manufactured to API # 5, ensuring complete interchangeability.
