Power end

The foundation of power-one-piece rack

High strength alloy cast iron or nodular cast iron is used for one-piece casting.

Gear train-smooth, quiet and balanced power transmission

The core of power transmission is"Continuous tooth herringbone gear". This advanced gear design has an inherent mechanical advantage: the opposite helical angles of the right and left halves cancel each other out in terms of axial thrust during meshing.

Drive train-forged for maximum load

The core components that convert rotary motion into reciprocating power are made of the highest quality materials and processes.

Crankshaft: FQ-FXQ crankshafts are made of high quality alloy steel (35CrMo or 40CrMnMo) by forging process followed by severe heat treatment for superior mechanical properties and impact resistance.

Connecting rod: made of high strength ductile iron in one piece, with high lead bronze bushing at the end of the crank and bronze bushing at the end of the crosshead, these combinations provide excellent wear resistance under heavy loads.

Crosshead: solid alloy cast iron, reinforced around oversized crosshead pins to withstand heavy rod loads.

Lubrication and bearing-the key to long life

The FQ-FXQ uses a reliable splash lubrication system that utilizes the large oil sump in the crankcase to continuously deliver oil to all internal working parts for effective cooling and friction reduction. High-capacity tapered roller main bearings and roller pinion shaft bearings are used for the pump's critical support points, which are designed to ensure long-term accurate alignment and withstand heavy loads.

Hydraulic cylinder design-for the trickiest fluids

The MATTCO hydraulic end is designed as a direct replacement for OEM equipment, ensuring perfect compatibility and a standardized supply of perishable parts. Also, DL standard valve box type hydraulic end is excellent, its valve box is cast steel or ductile iron and other materials, providing excellent pressure capacity and fatigue resistance.

High chromium bimetallic cylinder liner

The outer sleeve is made of forged carbon steel (AISI 1045) to provide high strength and toughness, and the inner sleeve is made of high chromium cast iron alloy (more than 27% chromium) by centrifugal casting process.

This process brings significant performance advantages: after heat treatment, the lining surface is extremely hard (Rockwell hardness of HRC 60-69) and is excellently resistant to abrasion by sand and other solid particles in mud, and excellent corrosion resistance. This translates directly to over 800 hours of ultra-long service life, far beyond the ordinary cylinder liner.

Driving force-forged alloy piston rod

Piston rod is not a simple steel bar, but by 42CrMo and other high-strength alloy steel forged. Its manufacturing process includes forging forming, quenching and tempering heat treatment process, and the final precision machining.

Carburizing valve assembly

Valves and seats are forged from high quality alloy steel (AISI 4119 or AISI 8620) . The most critical process is"Deep carburizing" or surface hardening. The carburizing process infiltrates carbon atoms into the steel to form an extremely hard, wear-resistant shell (HRC ≥60) while maintaining the toughness of the core material. This dual-attribute structure is essential to resist the intense, repeated impact and abrasive fluids to which the valve is subjected, resulting in substantially longer service life compared to parts that are not carburized or surface hardened only.
