Power End: stable and reliable cornerstone
Frame construction:
Material and design: PZ-9 is an integrally cast frame made of high strength Nodular Iron (part no. PZ172) . This design choice prioritizes structural rigidity, vibration absorption, and fatigue resistance.
Crankshaft and power train:
Crankshaft (eccentric shaft) and connecting rod: crankshaft is made of high quality cast or forged alloy steel (42CrMo)(part no. 2013705) . The connecting rod is also made of high strength ductile iron or forged alloy steel (part no. PZ417) to support up to 101,550 pounds of piston rod load.
Gears: double helical (herringbone) gears designed to AGMA standards and heat treated. The large gear is bolted to the eccentric shaft.
Pinion shaft (intermediate shaft) : using double out-end design, convenient for users to install belt pulley or sprocket on either side according to the layout of the rig, which provides great installation flexibility.
Hydraulic end: precision forgings designed to withstand high pressure
Module (cylinder) design and material:
Design: the interchangeable hydraulic cylinder module with ultra-compact and Valve-over-valve structure is adopted. This modular design greatly simplifies maintenance and allows for independent replacement in the event of a single cylinder failure, rather than replacing the entire hydraulic end assembly.
Material and fabrication: the cylinder module is made of high quality alloy steel (35CRMO or 40CrMnMo) forged in one piece. CRMO alloy steel provides the perfect combination of strength, toughness and resistance to hydrogen embrittlement. All modules are precisely machined on a CNC boring machine, and subjected to rigorous computer-controlled heat treatment and non-destructive testing to ensure the uniformity and flawlessness of their internal structure.
Pressure Grade: the rated working pressure of the standard module is 5000 PSI, and the strict hydrostatic pressure test ensures its safety performance.
Valve Assembly:
Standard & Design: Industry Standard API # 7 valve assembly. Full-open seat options are available. The full-open design significantly increases flow area, reduces fluid turbulence and pressure loss compared to traditional mesh seats, thereby improving hydraulic efficiency and reducing scouring of the seat base. The valve cover adopts the combination of threaded ring and locking cover, which ensures the reliability of high pressure seal and facilitates the quick replacement of valve parts on site.
Material: body and seat are usually forged from high strength wear resistant alloy steel (20CrMnTiH) to resist high frequency impact and fluid erosion. Valve rubber (plug-in) is a key sealing and wear resistant component and is standardly furnished with high performance
Polyurethanes offer excellent wear resistance and elasticity, as well as options such as Carboxylated Nitrile rubber to handle high temperatures or special chemical fluids.
Manifolds and interfaces:
Discharge manifolds: constructed of cast steel subjected to hydrostatic pressure testing and constructed to last.
Suction/discharge interface: standard flanged connections are provided in accordance with API standards. The usual suction diameter is 10 inches and the 5000 PSI pressure grade discharge diameter is 51/8 inches.

Completion and stimulation: suitable for high pressure cementing, acidizing, etc. . Although not specifically designed for fracturing, it also performs well in some high pressure injection applications.
Mining and heavy construction: The PZ-9 is a reliable power source for projects requiring long-distance, high-pressure transportation of slurry, mud, or water.
Large directional crossing (HDD-RRB- : in laHDD HDD projects such as submarine cable laying, powerful pumps such as PZ-9PZ-9 are needed to circulate drilling fluid over long pipelines.

Prying seat bag: optionally, a simple prying seat for transport and positioning only, or a more versatile large maintenance prying seat, which usually integrates non-slip decks, work tables, lockers, and piping.
Perfusion system: equipped with centrifugal perfusion sand pump, to ensure that the main pump suction inlet has enough positive pressure, effectively prevent cavitation, protect the hydraulic end parts.
Shock absorption system: optional suction line pressurizer and/or discharge line pulsation buffer to smooth fluid flow and reduce shock to lines and ground equipment.
Manifolds: standard cast manifolds or custom log-style suction manifolds are available.
Third-party certification: DNV, ABS, API and other classification societies or industry bodies can be provided upon request.
