Sturdy cast iron crankcase (power rack)
The power rack of the C35-20-DV is of solid monolithic cast iron (CL30 class) design, providing an extremely stable base for all internal drive components. In addition, the crankcase doubles as an extra-large oil reservoir, ensuring excellent lubrication and efficient heat dissipation for all moving parts. The sufficient capacity of lubricating oil not only extends the replacement cycle of lubricating oil, but more importantly, it effectively controls the operating temperature of the power end through better heat exchange efficiency, it significantly extends the life of key components such as bearings and gears.
Crankshaft-resistance to fatigue due to forging process
The crankshaft of C35-20-DV is made of 4140 alloy steel after forging and heat treatment or of high strength ductile iron (ASTMA536) .
Ductile iron core components (connecting rod and crosshead)
The connecting rod and the crosshead are the key parts to transmit the huge reciprocating force. For this purpose, we selected a high-strength ductile iron conforming to the ASTM A536 standard. This material selection allows the connecting rod to effectively absorb the large tensile and compressive stresses generated by the piston stroke without brittle fracture. At the same time, the excellent damping performance of ductile iron also contributes to the smooth and low noise operation of the pump, which further reduces the wear of the whole power end system.
Hydraulic end-designed to overcome corrosion and wear
High strength ductile iron manifold
The hydraulic end body (manifold) of the C35-20-DV is made of high strength ductile iron and is available in aluminum bronze as an optional material. Ductile iron manifolds are capable of withstanding working pressures up to 2000 PSI, and their inherent corrosion resistance makes them well suited for applications such as sewer dredging and industrial cleaning, and in these scenarios, the use of ductile iron manifolds in the construction of industrial sewers is of great interest, pumps are exposed to a variety of detergents and wastewater of complex composition.
Advanced Cylinder Liner and piston assembly
A stainless steel tapered cylinder liner with a ceramic coating was used. This design is far superior to conventional hardened steel or chrome plated liners. The ceramic coating provides an extremely high surface hardness (close to Mohs hardness) and an extremely low coefficient of friction. This provides a double advantage: first, it effectively resists the wear and tear of sand and gravel in the mud; second, its smooth inert surface significantly extends the life of the piston packing seal by reducing friction and heat generation. This design translates directly into longer maintenance intervals and lower total cost of ownership.
Advantages of the"DV" model-Delrin valve system
The"DV" in the C35-20-DV model indicates that it is equipped with a high-performance Acetal (also known as Delrin) plain valve (part no. 17714A003) . Acetal material offers excellent dimensional stability in wet environments, and this engineered choice is designed to optimize pump performance in terms of chemical compatibility and reliability, directly addressing valve failure issues prevalent in the industry.
High performance sealing system
C35-20-DV features multi-lip v-ring fillers made from Buna-N and cotton fabric reinforced composites. The v-ring design provides a reliable dynamic seal at high pressures. As an excellent general-purpose sealing material, nitrile rubber has good tolerance to petroleum-based oil and water, and is a standard configuration with high cost performance.
We also offer alternative sealing materials such as Viton (FKM) to meet the demands of more demanding applications. Viton excels in high temperature resistance and resistance to a wide range of highly corrosive chemicals, allowing customers to tailor the pump configuration to their specific harsh operating conditions, ensuring optimum performance and maximum service life.

Application: sewer dredging
In the sewer dredging operation, the pump needs to treat the circulating water containing sand, sludge and other abrasive particles for a long time. C35-20-DV ductile iron manifolds and ceramic-coated cylinder liners are effective against this wear, while its Acetal valves are resistant to corrosion from a variety of chemical cleaners that may be used during operation.
Application: high pressure industrial cleaning
For factory equipment cleaning, vehicle cleaning and other industrial cleaning applications that require long-term continuous operation, the continuous operation design of the C35-20-DV power end (forged crankshaft, heavy duty bearings) ensures its reliability under high-intensity shifts.
