Power side: the heart of heavy work
Solid Foundation: the core of the power end is a gearbox made of solid monolithic cast iron. It not only provides solid protection for the internal transmission components, but also doubles as a large-capacity fuel tank, providing excellent lubrication for all moving parts through a continuous splash lubrication system. The top cover is designed for quick disassembly, greatly facilitating routine inspection and maintenance.
Excellent transmission system: we use high-strength, forged and heat-treated alloy steel on key transmission components to ensure its performance under continuous heavy loads.
Crankshaft: automotive grade forged heat-treated alloy steel crankshaft, designed for continuous service and maximum life, drawing on automotive industry standards for reliability under extreme conditions.
Gears: both pinion and main gears are machined from high-strength alloy steel and are designed with helical teeth, which not only make the operation smoother and quieter, but also allow the crankshaft to rotate in both directions, providing great flexibility for on-site installation.
Bearing and connecting rod system: strong power requires solid support. The DP80-20 is equipped with a heavy duty bearing system with tapered roller bearings for the main bearings and automotive grade steel-backed inlaid bearings for the crankshaft journal, ensuring minimum friction and longer life. The connecting rod is made of high strength ductile iron with replaceable bronze wrist pin bearings to further enhance the durability of the system.
Hydraulic end: the art of precise pressure bearing
Core structure: hydraulic end pump body made of high strength ductile iron, to withstand up to 2000 psi work pressure to provide a solid structural protection.
Plunger -- the key to performance: the plunger is the core component to achieve high pressure. We use stainless steel with a tungsten carbide coating. This"Superhard" and"Scratch-free" plunger surface after precision grinding, smoothness of up to 12u, excellent wear resistance, can significantly extend the service life of the seal, ensure that the pump remains efficient after a long period of operation.
Sealing technology: high pressure, spring loaded, self lubricating braided packing design. This design is selected for its superior strength, self-lubricating properties, and heat dissipation, enabling it to be used in a variety of complex applications. The seat is made of corrosion resistant aluminum bronze and is designed to allow quick and easy replacement of seals on site.
Valve system: spring-loaded center-post valves with durable acetal valves and stainless steel seats ensure stability and long life in high-speed reciprocating motion. The bonnet is made of ductile iron/stainless steel with nitrile rubber o-rings and spare rings. A key design highlight is that each valve can be serviced independently without disassembly or interference with the inlet and outlet lines, greatly simplifying the maintenance process.
Crosshead and pony: the heavy-duty ductile iron crosshead is axially fixed with a highly polished stainless steel pony (crosshead extension) through threads and pins, ensures rigidity and accuracy of power transmission.

Municipal and sewer cleaning: the 80 GPM high flow rate provides a powerful flushing capability that quickly removes loose debris and silt from the pipes, while the 2000 psi high pressure breaks down and peels away stubborn blockages, roots, grease, and hardened matter. This golden combination of features makes it the preferred equipment for efficient trunk cleaning and sewer dredging by municipal service contractors and utilities.
Horizontal vs. vertical drilling: although the term"Mud pump" is often associated with large-scale oil and gas exploration, DP80-20 plays a crucial role in specific drilling areas. It is not designed for large-scale oil recovery, but for applications such as horizontal directional drilling (HDD) , water well drilling, geothermal drilling, and core drilling, it is an excellent, modest-sized mud pump.
