FMC pumps are machines for conveying fluids or pressurizing fluids. They transfer the mechanical energy of the prime mover or other external energy to the liquid, increasing the energy of the liquid. FMC pumps are mainly used to convey liquids such as water, oil, acid and alkali liquids, emulsions, suspensions and liquid metals, and can also convey liquid-gas mixtures and liquids containing suspended solids. FMC pumps can usually be divided into three categories according to their working principles: positive displacement FMC pumps, dynamic FMC pumps and other types of FMC pumps. In addition to classification by working principle, they can also be classified and named according to other methods. For example, according to the driving method, they can be divided into electric FMC pumps and water wheel FMC pumps; according to the structure, they can be divided into single-stage FMC pumps and multi-stage FMC pumps; according to the purpose, they can be divided into boiler feed water FMC pumps and metering FMC pumps; according to the nature of the conveyed liquid, they can be divided into water FMC pumps, oil FMC pumps and mud FMC pumps. According to the presence or absence of shaft structure, they can be divided into linear FMC pumps and traditional FMC pumps. Water FMC pumps can only convey logistics with fluid as the medium, and cannot convey solids.
