Core Power specification

The strength of the A-1700-PT platform derives from its solid core power parameters, which together form the basis of its superior performance:

Rated input braking power: 1700HP (1268kw) , which is to measure the pump power output capacity of the basic indicators.

Maximum Speed: 150spm (strokes per minute) . This parameter determines the pump's maximum circulation rate and directly affects displacement.

Stroke length: 12 inches (304.8 mm) . Longer strokes usually mean more fluid can be pumped per cycle and allow for lower speeds at specific outputs, which helps reduce wear and tear.

Mechanical Efficiency: the performance calculation follows the industry standard of 90% mechanical efficiency, which reflects our rigorous attitude and transparency of performance modeling. Based on this, the pump provides about 1530 water horsepower (HHP) of effective hydraulic power.

Mission: excel in demanding applications

The data in the performance chart translates into significant advantages in the real world:

Deepwater and ultra-deepwater operations: the 7500 PSI pressure capability is essential to overcome the huge hydrostatic pressure and circulating friction loss in deepwater drilling risers and ensure effective circulation of drilling fluid to the bottom of the hole.

Extended Reach and complex wellbore: high pressure ensures efficient wellbore cleaning and cuttings carrying capacity in ultra-long horizontal intervals, which is the key to preventing downhole complications.

High pressure wellbore service: the versatility of the pump makes it equally suitable for cementing, acidizing and fracturing services that require high pressure and stable continuous displacement, providing customers with a multi-functional, cost-effective option.

The core of the system: Seiko 7500 Psi Fluid Assembly

Design philosophy and material integrity

Material selection: all fluid modules are made of high quality high strength forged alloy steels such as AISI 4135, AISI 8620 or 35CRMO. These selected steels offer excellent fatigue resistance and are ideal for high pressure applications.

Manufacturing Process: our proprietary multi-stage manufacturing process is the core of product quality assurance.

Forging process: the module is forged rather than cast to obtain a superior internal grain structure and unparalleled strength.

Heat treatment and hardening: through the proprietary overall heat treatment and internal hardening process, giving the module extremely high durability and wear resistance.

Precision Machining: the use of advanced CNC boring and milling machine for processing, to ensure accurate tolerance, to achieve perfect interchangeability of parts and sealing effect.

Quality Assurance: each module is subjected to rigorous NDT tests such as ultrasonic testing and hydrostatic pressure testing prior to delivery to ensure material integrity. In addition, we also use Autofrettage technology to pre-stress the module, which significantly prolongs its fatigue life.

Excellent modular architecture: OEM"L" design

Through finite element analysis (FEA) , our engineers accurately identified and eliminated the stress concentration points inherent in conventional Valve-Over-Valve designs at high pressures. This forward-looking design approach ensures that our products are fundamentally superior to imitators in the marketplace.

Our"L" shaped fluid assemblies place more structural materials in the critical areas that need to withstand the greatest internal pressure of 7500 PSI, thus providing stronger structural support and higher safety. Key features include:

Independent forging, interchangeable suction and discharge modules: simplifies maintenance and replacement.

Eliminate lower valve orientation: facilitates valve replacement and reduces downtime.

Integrated replaceable cylinder liner wear plate: protects the module body from wear, significantly reducing long-term total cost of ownership (TCO) .

High durability wearing parts, to achieve the longest normal operating time

Cylinder liner:

High chromium cylinder liners: our standard, high strength forged steel casing with centrifugally cast high chromium cast iron liners. Its bore hardness is up to Rockwell 62-69hrc, providing excellent wear resistance.

HP ceramic cylinder liner: bore hardness up to Rockwell 92-94hrc (
HV 1100/1200) , a surface finish of 4-8 RMS, and tighter inner diameter tolerances (+ . 010"/-. 000") . These features reduce friction, reduce heat, and significantly extend the life of the cylinder liner and piston.

Pistons and seals:

We offer a variety of proprietary formulations of bonded pistons to suit a variety of drilling fluid systems.

High temperature resistant polyurethane piston: this is the preferred high performance option, rated for continuous operation at 7500 PSI pressures and temperatures up to 300 °F22. It has excellent chemical resistance to oil-based and synthetic-based muds.

Replaceable rubber/double slip ring seal pistons: multiple options are available to meet different operating conditions and cost-effective requirements.

Valve Assembly:

We offer full open API standard valve assemblies designed and rated for 7500 PSI continuous operation.

Body Design: one-piece inertia welded body with streamlined guide rib maximizes flow area and reduces turbulence.

SEAT Design: Heavy Duty seat design increases contact area between metals, effectively reducing wear and preventing erosion.

Valve rubber: Cast-N-PlaceTM one-piece polyurethane valve rubber ensures perfect sealing under high pressure and resists movement or expansion.

The cornerstone of reliability: the power end

Racks, gears, and power transmission

Frame: welded and normalized steel frame, strong structure, to provide stable support for high-intensity operation, and effectively suppress vibration.

Gear transmission: using single helical gear design, compared to spur gears, can provide a smoother, more quiet power transmission and greater tooth contact, thereby reducing the impact load on the whole transmission system.

Crankshaft and bearing assembly

Crankshaft: using one-piece forged alloy steel crankshaft, from 4340 modified high nickel steel and other high-quality materials, can effectively resist crack propagation. The entire manufacturing process includes forging, heat treatment and precision machining to ensure superior strength and durability.

Bearings: high capacity roller bearings are used throughout the power end, including pinion shafts (spherical roller bearings) , crankshafts (straight roller bearings) , and connecting rods (tile bearings) . This is the key to long life and heavy loads. We only use products from top suppliers such as n Roller Bearings to ensure maximum reliability.

Advanced lubrication system

A precision lubrication system is not only a function, it is directly related to the long-term operation of equipment costs and reliability. The power end is the most expensive component of a pump, and the most common failure mode is bearing failure due to insufficient lubrication or contamination. Our design aims to fundamentally eliminate this risk.

System design: a dual lubrication system is used to ensure safety.

Forced lubrication: the built-in oil pump provides pressurized lubrication for all critical moving parts, including bearings and gears.

Splash lubrication: provides auxiliary lubrication and cooling.

Filtration system: equipped with full flow filtration system to ensure the cleanliness of lubricating oil, thus greatly reducing wear and extending the life of components.

External system: the complete pump set includes an external electric lubrication system and strainer for easy monitoring and maintenance to ensure optimum lubrication.

Designed for easy maintenance and value creation

Design for easy maintenance on site

Easy access to components: individually replaceable forged steel cylinders, bolted-on suction and discharge manifolds, and easily accessible valve boxes are all designed to be optimized for field maintenance.

Quick Change Kit: High Pressure Quick Change Bonnet assembly and self aligning piston rod and clamp features are designed to significantly reduce time and labor required to replace perishable parts.

Cylinder liner locking system: metal-to-metal cylinder liner locking device and optional hydraulic cylinder liner puller ensure the safe fixation of the cylinder liner and make the replacement process more convenient.
