Power End: a solid core designed for continuous operation
Transmission system: the combination of strength and precision
The drivetrain is the heart of the power end and is responsible for converting the input rotary power into strong reciprocating motion.
Crankshaft: we use one-piece forged alloy steel crankshafts made of optimized special alloy steels, such as 4340 or 35CrMo, and increase the content of elements such as nickel to significantly improve their crack propagation resistance and corrosion resistance, to ensure long-term stability under high load.
Gearing: precision-machined helical or herringbone gear system at the heart of the transmission of power.
Rack and mechanism
Strong mechanical structure is the premise to ensure the accurate alignment and long-term stable operation of the transmission system.
Frame: HD-1700-PT adopts all-welded steel power Frame, strong structure and high rigidity. This design effectively resists and absorbs the huge stress generated by the pump during operation, prevents frame deformation, and thus protects the alignment of internal high-precision components.
Bearings: we know that Bearings are the key to pump reliability. Therefore, in the power side of every key node, including pinion shaft, crankshaft, connecting rod and crosshead, we are invariably used in high-quality heavy-duty roller bearings 14. These bearings can minimize friction loss, to withstand a huge radial and axial load, is the fundamental protection of long-term trouble-free operation of the pump.
Crossheads and Guides: the Crossheads are made of high-strength ductile iron, while the Guides are made of fine abrasion-resistant bronze or superior meehanite cast iron

The hydraulic end of the HD-1700-PT features an advanced l-shaped or Valve-Over-Valve multi-modular design. We don't compromise on material selection. All hydraulic end modules are forged from the highest quality alloy steel (AISI 4135,35CRMO or 40CrMnMo) . System support and maintenance
In addition to the core components, the HD-1700-PT's design includes critical subsystems to support its efficient operation and extended life.
Liner Cooling System: each pump is standardly equipped with its own Liner spray Cooling System. Pulsation Dampener: the reciprocating characteristics of a triplex pump determine that there will be natural pressure fluctuations in its discharge. To this end, HD-1700-PT in the discharge manifold equipped with high-performance pulse dampener. It acts as a"Pressure sponge", absorbing the peak pressure generated by each piston action and releasing energy during the intermission, thus greatly smoothing the pressure curve in the discharge line.
