Power end: solid and durable foundation
Racks, gears and crankshafts
Frame structure: the use of all-welded steel power frame for the pump to provide the ultimate rigidity and strength. This rugged construction can withstand a full power output of 1100hp without distortion, ensuring precise alignment of internal drive components, which is key to extended bearing and gear life.
Gear system: power is transmitted through precision machined herringbone gears. Compared to conventional spur gears, herringbone gears are designed to provide smoother, quieter operation with a higher load carrying capacity. This design choice effectively reduces the vibration and stress of the gear train and directly improves the overall durability of the pump.
Crankshaft: Made of high grade forged alloy steel (4340 alloy steel) and subjected to a rigorous heat treatment process.
Pinion shafts: dual outrigger design, also made of forged alloy steel (42CrMo) , allows power to be fed from either side of the pump, providing valuable flexibility for rig integration and field layout.
Assembly for reciprocating motion
Connecting rod: the two-piece design greatly simplifies maintenance. During the overhaul, the connecting rod can be installed and replaced in the frame without completely removing the crankshaft, which significantly shortens the maintenance time.
Crosshead and guide: the Crosshead is cast from high strength ductile iron and operates in a replaceable, shim-adjustable guide. This design allows accurate compensation of the wear clearance by adjusting the shims, thereby extending the life of the crosshead and Power Rack.
Bearing and lubrication system
Bearing Configuration: heavy duty roller bearings are used throughout the power end, including double row spherical roller bearings on crankshaft and pinion shafts, and straight roller bearings on connecting rod big end. This configuration can bear high radial load and axial load at the same time, to ensure the stability of the transmission system and long life.
Lubrication system: dual, pressure-splash complex lubrication system is the core of the pump reliability.
Hydraulic end: designed for high pressure environment and easy maintenance
Modular"L" design
The A-1100-PT features three fully interchangeable, independently replaceable"L" cylinders (modules) . These modules are made from the highest quality high strength forged alloy steels (AISI 4130, AISI 4135 or 35CrMo) and are obtained with exceptional hardness and durability through forging, CNC Milling and rigorous heat treatment processes. The fabrication of all modules and their components is strictly followed
API 7K quality standard, and through non-destructive testing (NDT) , to ensure the integrity and reliability of each product.
Easy-to-maintain structural features
Valve repair: independent, easy-to-reach screw-in bonnets make inspection and replacement of valves and seats extremely quick, eliminating the need to remove unrelated parts.
Manifolds: suction and discharge manifolds with independent bolted connections are easier to disassemble and maintain than integrated designs.
Cylinder liner fixing and cooling: the strong metal-to-metal cylinder liner locking structure ensures that the cylinder liner will not move under high pressure. At the same time, the integrated all-round cylinder liner flushing system continuously cools and cleans the contact surface between the piston and the cylinder liner, effectively extending the service life of these key wearing parts.
Application Customizable Perishables: a comprehensive inventory of spare parts
The strength of the A-1100-PT is its versatility. We offer a comprehensive selection of wearing parts that enable customers to optimize pump configurations for optimum performance and maximum operating time based on specific drilling fluid, temperature, and pressure conditions.
